A GERMAN K98 DRESS BAYONET SPURIOUSLY ETCHED FOR SS DIVISION 'HORST WESSEL', circa late 1930s, with 10 in. nickelled steel single-edged blade fullered on each side, decoratively etched 'Horst Wessel (SS) 18 Fr. Panzer Gr / Division' on one side, and 'Meine Ehre heist Treue' and swastika over, nickelled steel cross-guard and hilt, with the pommel etched with boxed swastika above the Horst Wessel sword emblem and '18' , wooden grips, black steel scabbard with cleaned frog stud, scabbard with some denting, post-war fantasy piece, 16 in. overall
